We had a full house last night at the Steve White drum clinic. Steve is super talented and the show was fantastic! He performed with the new Yamaha Recording Custom drum kit which I must say sounded brilliant.
Steve shared his tips and tricks to drumming along with mentioning his students and what he teaches them. The whole show was very inspiring and as I was leaving, a man turned to me and said "I'm definitely going to go practice now!".
During the Q&A, Steve mentioned that Paul Weller has inspired him throughout his drumming career and that Paul taught him the importance of learning song structure even when you're not a song writer. Jon Lord also had a shoutout as he encouraged and supported Steve when he moved from one band to another and helped him see that you can change what genre you play.
After the show, Steve stayed back for signatures and photos.
We hope everyone who came had a good night and a big thank you to Steve White for performing!
