So we’re not even past Christmas yet and we’re already talking about next year, but we’ve got a good reason! As of December 1st, Gretsch released the brand new Catalina Maple drum kits, and because we’re one step ahead of the game we have a selection of these beautiful drum kits in stock here at Drumshop UK and available to purchase before 2014!

The re-invented Catalina drums are now available in four beautiful new finishes and come complete with new features including the Gretsch round badge and smart looking round badge bass drum mount.

I’m a sucker for sparkles and (weirdly) one of my favourite colours is black so without a doubt the Black-Bronze Glitter is the one that stands out the most for me, but I have to admit all four finishes are truly beautiful and the Aqua Sparkle is a definite head turner!

Although the Gretsch Catalina Maple drum kits have been showered with new and exciting features, the core of this popular drum kit remains the same, with it’s original 7-ply maple shell with 30 degree bearing edges and fitted with Gretsch logo Remo drum heads, you can be assured these maple drums will deliver 'that great Gretsch sound’ that you love! These Gretsch drum kits have simply been revamped for 2014, but their true qualities still live on.
