We’ve just added yet another cymbal to the Sabian AAX collection… The Memphis Ride! Although this Sabian cymbal isn’t brand new, we are still very excited to finally have this amazing cymbal in stock.
So, who are Sabian?
Sabian are a very well known and respected cymbal manufacturer and are one of the top four cymbal companies and were founded in 1981 by Robert Zildjian.
What is the Memphis Cymbal?
This 21” Memphis ride cymbal is made from B20 bronze metal and comes in a beautiful natural finish. This ride is a medium to light weight cymbal and is excellent for a continuous bright shimmering sound at all volumes.
Is this cymbal right for me?
This Sabian cymbal is best suited for modern drummers. The Memphis ride delivers a bright sound that works well in many genres and musical styles and it’s perfect for both studio and live work.
Who plays with this cymbal?
San Francisco drummer and producer Jaz Sawyer has the Sabian Memphis cymbal in his set-up! Jaz who runs his own record label, Pursuance and has signed artists/bands such as 8 Legged Monster, Robert Mwamba, Adrian Areas Latin Jazz Ensemble and more.
