Jojo Mayer is coming!

Yep that’s right, another Drumshop date for your diary! We’re excited to announce that Jojo is scheduled to hold a drum clinic at Newcastle college in association with Drumshop on the 9th October 2013, bringing his extensive drumming knowledge and amazing performing skills with him.

We’re inviting you all to come along to Jojo’s drum clinic at Newcastle college, we guarantee you’ll have a good night and that you’ll go home feeling inspired and full of new drumming ideas.

A bit About The Legend Himself…

Jojo Mayer first got into drumming when he was 18, playing major jazz festivals throughout Europe with Monty Alexander’s group. From there Jojo’s drumming career rocketed and as of today has played and recorded with a number of top artists and musicians from all different genres with the likes of The Vienna Art Orchestra, DJ Spooky, Wolfgang Muthspiel, Steve Coleman’s 5 Elements and Wah Wah Watson to name but a few.

Jojo is known for being a top class clinician and is regarded as one of the most advanced drummers in the world due to his amazing drumming techniques. So, as you can imagine, Jojo is an extremely talented drummer and we feel privileged that he’s coming to do a drum clinic for us and share his drumming tips and tricks with us at the October clinic.
