A Bit About Chris Johnson...
Yes, this is a first for you and us all here at Drumshop UK. Chris Johnson who has been the gospel man behind many big named front men and women. Chris who comes from a family of 3 other brothers is a self taught drummer who is originally left-handed but learned to drum right-handed. This helped him with his open handed style of drumming.
Chris started his drumming career by playing with gospel singer Donnie McClurkin and then moved on to international fame with artists such as Anastacia to Stevie Wonder, Seal and many more. Chris at the moment plays a Yamaha Oak Custom drum kit with a 24” bass drum and a 22” bass drum. Chris also uses drum triggers with his kit too. As for cymbals Chris plays Sabian mixing the AAX and HHX
