Gibraltar have added some new products this year and also built upon existing series.
The new turning point series hardware resembles the current 9600 series stands but has a new, innovative base. The turning point hi hat and snare drum stands feature the all-new L-Bar aluminium legs replacing the previous double braced steel legs. The lightweight aluminium makes it easier for you to carry your stands around and your hardware bag will be noticeable lighter!
Gibraltar have combined the high end 9600 series with the 6600 to create the new for 2013, feature packed 6700 hardware! The Gibraltar 9600 stands were extremely heavy-duty, steel stands but this new hybrid series has been designed to be just as sturdy but without the bulkiness. The 6700 series features the Gibraltar brake tilter and new memory locking system.
Do you find yourself fighting for space when it comes to gigging and performing in clubs/pubs etc? If that sounds like you then this new and exciting Gibraltar product could be a little life saver! Gibraltar have introduced the Cajon pedal… The Cajon pedal enables you to turn your cajon into a bass drum and create the effect you need without difficulty! The ideal piece of hardware to have handy when you’re short of floor space!
Everyone’s been talking about Gibraltars brand new 9711 GS G Class bass drum pedal. This new high-end pedal features a single pillar design with innovative wheel system which is easily adjusted to loosen and tighten tension. The tension wheels also features a marked gage so can quickly adjust the tension back if it comes loose. The hoop clamp on this pedal has a ratchet system with quick relase button, much quicker and easier than using screws and drum keys! The 9711 pedal board design is flat and sleek making it easier to play bare foot. The pedal cam allows you to get 2 positions, forward, which gives the beater more throw for more attack or relaxed which provides you with a more fluid throw. Another cool feature of this new Gibraltar pedal is the weighted beater. The beater has 3 magnets inside the head (4-5g a piece). The magnets drastically change the feel of the pedal and can give you anything from a soomth feel to alot of resistance.
Dunnett have a new mount which attaches onto the hoop of your tom or snare enabling you to add a rod to mount a microphone, cowbell or anything you may need! Gibraltar also now have port holes for the bass drum head and a hole cutter pen.
