Keith from Premier drums was at this years NAMM show introducing us to the new 2013 Premier Drum Kits.
The Vintage series 3-piece drum kit we’re shown in the video below is made up of 12” x 8” Tom, 14” x 14” Floor Tom and a 22” x 14” bass drum but is also available with a smaller, 18” x 14” Bass Drum. The Vintage series drum kits are constructed from a 5mm African Mahogany and Birch mix ply. Available as a shell pack only.
We’ve seen how popular the Premier 'One Series’ snare drums have been and now there’s a Premier 'One Series’ drum kit! This drum kit consists of 5 drums, 10” x 7” Tom, 12” x 8” Tom, 14” x 12” Tom, 16” x 14” Floor Tom and a 22” x 17” Bass Drum. With a mixed ply of mahogany and birch and a beautiful santos rosewood finish this drum kit looks and no doubt sounds amazing! The One Series drums come complete with the British Collection chrome plated mini tube lugs and new low mass rimms mount.
The Extreme HR drum kit has been based on the Premier Extreme HR 14” x 8“snare drum. The shells are 8mm thick and feature a vertical grain birch with a satin black oak finish. The Extreme HR drum kit comes in one configuration (24“x16”, 13“x9, 16“x16”) but with the choice of an additional 18” x 16” Floor Tom. Similarly to the Extreme HR snare drum, this Premier drum kit features nickel hardware and full length tube lugs from the Premier British Collection.
The first Aviation series drum kit is the Spitfire. The Spitfire is made up of birch and oak mixed plys and comes in the following drum configuration… 22” x 18” Bass Drum, 12” x 7” Tom, 16” x 14” Floor Tom. The Spitfire drum kit features the Aviation lugs which has been themed on the front nose of a Spitfire plane. This new Premier drum kit comes in an eye catching Georgian Oak finish. We actually have the Premier Spitfire drum kit in store here at Drum Shop UK as a 4-piece with a add on 14” x 14” Floor Tom.
