As of today, Yamaha have released a brand new electronic drum kit designed especially for entry level drummers. Whether you’re brand new to the world of drumming or just want to build upon your current skills, the Yamaha DTX400K is the way forward! The DTX400K will help you develop your skills and you’ll see yourself progressing the more you play. This electronic drum kit has been described as a 'learning tool’ due to the onboard training functions including Grove Check, Rhythm Gate, Groove Tracker and Fast Blaster and many more. Each of these features have been specially designed to guide you throughout your drumming experience.

As the DTX400K is a practice drum kit, the features allow you to expand and upgrade as your skills grow. The USB connection allows you to control VSTi drum sound libraries as well as record directly to computer software and import new songs via Yamaha’s Music Soft Downloader. You’ll never be behind the times with the Yamaha DTX400K as there will be a number of APP’s available in the near future which have been specifically designed to work alongside this new Yamaha electronic drum kit. These APP’s will provide you with an exciting interactive learning experience like no other.

The DTX400K drum pads provide you with a natural response for a more realistic feel. The rubber surface stops your drumsticks from sliding, allowing you to practice single, double and triple strokes without difficulty. The dimensions of this Yamaha drum kit have been carefully created with an acoustic kit in mind, so you’ll be comfortable playing an acoustic too.



You can design you own drum kit from a choice of 23 snare drums, 21 bass drums, 36 toms, 31 cymbals and even 42 percussion instruments. Once you’ve created your personalised drum kits, you’re able to save up to 10 of your favourites ready to play them whenever you feel like it with the simple click of a button!
