Meinls New Customs Classic Extreme Metal Series

I’ve spent today adding Meinls new Classics Custom Extreme Metal Series to the site.

I was impressed with this range, especially the Extreme Metal boxed set which includes essential cymbals sold as a bundle at a cheaper price, definitely worth taking a look at.

The Extreme Metal Stack cymbals also caught my eye as I didn’t really know much about the stack or effect cymbals, so I chose to find out a bit more about them and why they are used.

I love the 'edgey’ sounds the Classics Custom Extreme Metal Series are capable of and how they manage to create an identity, causing you to recognise the distinct sounds over and over again…
