My favourite has to be the Steve Gadd Signature Series Maple Snare Drum. I usually prefer a sparkle or more colourful finishes but there’s something about the Steve Gadd snare that caught my eye. I think the chrome hardware against the black glossy finish really gives this snare drum a professional, expensive appearance. I love the Yamaha black 'Vintage’ hoops too, they look great and give this snare a unique streak!

It’s not only the Steve Gadd snare that has the Yamaha Vintage hoops. They also feature on Billy Cobhams, Akira Jimbos and Anton Figs signature snare drums. The vintage hoops have been designed to maximise the natural sound of the shell bringing you the best sound possible. The vintage hoops are also ideal for creating fat and powerful rimshots.
