Gretsch Snare Drums Added

I’ve been talking with Iestyn (the Rep for Gretsch) about all the new and exciting models that are now available, I guarantee you’re going to love them!

I’ve already been working on adding some more Gretsch Snares to Drum Shop UK. From Maple to Ash to Brass, you’re bound to find just what you’re looking for.

What struck me was the variety of sizes that are offered, as I’m used to seeing the standard size of 14”x5.5”, I was amazed to see sizes such as 14”x8” and 10”x6”.

My Favourite Gretsch Snares I’ve added to Drum Shop UK are the Contoured Wood Hoop Snare Drums. Each hoop also has a flanged metal hoop set inside the wood, which brings out a metallic sound quality. The combination of metallic sounds and wood tones puts this outstanding drum in a league of it’s own! It comes in 3 different hoop finishes, I prefer the Satin Walnut Hoop over the black and natural as I think it gives more character, and just because I like the colour!

I’ve also uploaded Gibraltar 9000 Series 2T Colour Thrones today. There are 4 different two-tone designs of the throne, all of them are pretty cool, but my favourite is the 9608–2TBLW model which is blue and grey.
