Jack Straughan made an excellent choice last Friday when he came into us here at Drum Shop UK when he came to try out the DrumCraft Series 7 Maple drum kit in liquid lava. Not only does this drum kit look exceptional it sounds exceptional too, as Jack will tell you.
Here is why Jack bought the DrumCraft Series 7 Drum Kit:
The reasons I choose the drum craft series 7 were, firstly the look of the red lava effect which I think looks awesome especially the way the light catches it, then the quality of the kit was outstanding, the maple shells and also the excellent deal we got from you (which my dad was very pleased with). Next the feel of the kit when I played it for the first time and lastly the sound which I think is out of this world. Thanks again to all of you for your help in choosing the right kit for me, I think my mam is regretting it though as it much louder than my old drum kit, so I think I`ll have to put my pads on. See you in a couple of weeks or so to get a new splash cymbal.

Jack who is only 11 years old has been playing drums now for 3 years and is currently playing drums for Houghton Area Youth Band, who have recently came 6th overall in a National competition at Blackpool Winter Gardens so well done for that – an Excellent achievement. Being influenced by the likes of U2, Slipknot and Blink 182, Jack started his drumming career with a Mapex Tornado which has put him in good stead for this amazing DrumCraft Series 7 drum kit.
When Jack tried out the DrumCraft Series 7 he was sounding pretty solid and was holding a great beat so well done to Jacks tutor Tommy Graham for getting him to a great level of drumming. We think there will be big things going to happen for jack in the not too distant future.
