New Mapex Drum Kits For 2012.
Changes made to existing Mapex Drum Kits…
I’ve been super busy the last few weeks sorting the new Mapex Drum Kits out and getting them onto the website following a meeting with our Mapex rep, Paul. He came into the store last week to get us up to date and tell us about all the new and exciting Mapex Drum Kits that are now available for 2012 and any changes that have been made to existing Kits.
The only major change throughout the Mapex Drum Kits is the drum configurations. The majority of the Mapex Kits were available in Rock and Fusion configurations, this has now been changed to a more modern Rock Fusion and Fusion. Mapex have also introduced a new Short Stak drum configuration across many Drum Series such as the Horizon Birch Series, Meridian Birch Series, Meridian Maple Series and the Saturn Series.
The Horizon HX Drum Kits no longer come in the plain steel colour finishes. They’ve had a re-vamp and are now available in Silver Sparkle (CK), Grey Sparkle (QS) or Blue Sparkle (NS)... each finish looks spectacular!
Brand New Mapex Drum Kits…
Mapex have introduced a brand new Series, The Voyager, which consists of excellent, affordable Drum Kits designed for new drummers that are progressing in the drumming and gigging world! The Voyager Drum Kits are available in two configurations, Fusion and the newly introduced Rock Fusion that I mentioned earlier. These next-level Drum Kits come in two professional looking covered finishes, Black or White. Both finishes have Black fittings which creates a smart appearance. The Voyager Series also comes with a full set of Mapex 330 Series Hardware Pack and a 2-piece Cymbal Set, so you can get playing straight away! A reliable Drum Kit to guide new drummers through their drumming experiences!
My favourite Drum Kit from the Mapex 2012 range has to be the Meridian Birch Special Edition Short Six. (Pictured Bottom Right). I love the Champagne Sparkle finish and think it’s great value for money. There aren’t many of the 2012 Special Edition Birch Drum Kits available, so if you’re interested don’t hesitate! Check it out for yourself, no doubt you’ll love it!
