The Gavin Harrison Drum Night

A great time was had by all at the Drum Shop UK, Gavin Harrison drum clinic which was held at our new state of the art warehouse in Washington.

The night started with a fantastic performance from one of our very own home grown drumming talents 'Charlie Vasiliou’. Charlie performed two tracks for us all to get the evening on its way and he did it with such confidence… Well done Charlie, we think it may just be a matter of time before we hear more and see a lot more from you…

A break was taken at this point where everyone was welcome to FREE snacks, pop and beer (for the adults).

Mike Dolbear then took to the stage to introduce Gavin Harrison. Gavin Gave us a quick talk about what he was going to do and to introduce himself. He played fantastic grooves throughout the night taking time to stop and for Q & A’s He then played some more to some great backing tracks..

To finish off the evening Mike jumped back onto the stage to offer out some prizes in return for people giving him the correct answers. The prizes ranged form a pair of Vic Firth drumsticks to a Zildjian A Custom 18” Crash..

Gavin then took the time to sign autographs and personally chat to the audience…
