An Evening With Nicko McBrain

Thank so much to all of you who turned up to see Nicko McBrain. It had been a every eventful day and night with Nicko. At Newcastle College last night we all were amazed by Nickos drumming and massive drum kit. We were all in awe as he played along to some of our favourite Iron Maiden songs with brief interludes, full of gags and stories from the main man himself.

Nicko also gave us a full break down of the new Spirit of Maiden 5-Piece Drum Kit then he showed us all how great the kit really is, he played the drum kit along to more of the Iron Maiden tracks. Great!!

After more of his jokes and stories, there was a brief moment of seriousness as he talked us through his Ed til am dead drum kit with the different Remo heads he puts on each drum and the Remo ebony resonant drum heads. He then showed us all of his Paiste cymbals, even showing off with his Paiste cymbal in the Iron Maiden font, very nice indeed.

We also got Nicko to sign and number a few Spirit of Maiden snare drums which are also available to buy on our website or in our new Drum Shop UK showroom in Washington
