These new British drum kits are available in 3 drum configurations, each constructed from birch/mahogany shells which have been carefully hand-crafted at Premier’s Custom Works in England.
As you may know, in 2001 Premier launched the Modern Classic snare drum range, inspired by classic drum design through the ages, and these new drum kits have been built based on the original snares but redesigned for today’s player, only made possible by the creative collaboration between master drum craftsman Keith Keough and the range’s pioneer, legendary drummer Steve White.
The Modern Classic drums bring you high, powerful, clean tones as well as a deep and dark soft low-end tone due to the combined birch and mahogany drum shells. Each of the Premier drum kits are available in two finishes and feature a protective layer of hand-applied satin oil. The two finishes, natural mahogany or birds-eye maple come complete with the opposite contrasting wooden bass drum hoops which look pretty cool!
As I mentioned above, the new Modern Classic drum kit is available in a choice of three drum configurations, two smaller Bebop drum kits and a Concert Master drum kits…
