We have just added some more Yamaha Snare Drums on our website and I tell you... They are awesome! We are talking about Yamaha Sensitive Series Snares and Yamaha Loud Series Snares so you can choose one snare from a variety of sizes and finishes.

Sensitive Series

The Sensitive Series Snares are ideal for all playing styles and all music genres ranging from soft jazz to rock. They are versatile snare drums, that come fitted with 7-ply shells made of North American Maple and an amazing hardware in a beautiful Chrome Finish. These snares come in a variety of sizes and colours you can choose from: 13" x 6.5", 14" x 5.5" or 14" x 6.5" and some beautiful finishes: Black Maple Finish, Red Pearl Natural Finish, Amber Sunburst Finish or Antique Sunburst Finish.

The features of these snares are quite impressive:

  • 7-ply maple shell
  • 2.7mm deep snare beds
  • 60 degrees top bearing edge cut
  • 45 degrees snare-side bearing edge cut
  • Chrome lugs
  • Black MapleĀ  finish
  • Remo USA heads

Loud Series

The Loud Series Snares from Yamaha feature 8-ply oak shells which can be considered the beating heart of these snare drums. Also, they come fitted with hardware in a beautiful dark chrome finish andĀ features a 45 degrees bearing edge cut for attack and articulation along with the 10-lug 2.4mm steel Dynahoops. The Loud Series Snare Drums come in a range of colours and sizes you can choose from: 14" x 5.5" or 14" x 7" and some amazing finishes: Matte Oak Natural Finish or Black Sparkle Sunburst Finish.

The features of the Loud Series Snares are incredible:

  • 8-ply Oak Shell
  • 45 degrees bearing edge cut
  • 2.7 mm deep snare beds cut
  • 10-lug 2.3mm steel Dynahoops
  • 20 offset lugs
