Fall in love with VK Drums
Back to work - Van Kleef Drums.
It's my first day back to work today after a lovely Christmas break and I was excited to see that we've had a delivery of two beautiful snare drums. I unpacked the box right away to get a closer look and get some photographs of these VK snares to share with you!
We have never had VK drums in store before, but after hearing a lot of positive things we thought it was about time we got them in and see (and hear) for ourselves! After speaking with the rest of the drumshop team, I can safely say we all agree that the VK snares are definitely special drums!
The first of the new drums I photographed was the VK Drums 14" x 5" Copper Snare Drum. This VK snare features a hand crafted copper shell, giving the drum an expensive-looking, superior appearance. The second VK drum has a Titanium shell. Similar to the VK copper snare, this Titanium snare drum has been hand made and built to the highest standard and not only looks amazing, but sounds amazing too.
As with all Van Kleef snare drums, these new snares come complete with solid Sheffield stainless steel hardware, and unique snare throw off, resulting in an all-round perfect snare drum! Adding to it's already slick look, the VK throw off is pretty cool, with it's flush design, laser engraved VK logo and and hidden VK drum key, this is a throw off like no other! The VK throw off is build by hand and made in the UK.
The V Key drum key is also hand made, just like the drums. The VKey retails at £20 but is free with your VK snare drum and fits neatly within the VK throw off, as you can see on the images above. The VK drum key has been mirror polished by hand using the finest Sheffield stainless steel and features a silent ratchet design.
Both of these snare drums come complete with stainless steel internal badge containing the drums information including the shells material, who it was handmade by, the resonant frequency and more valuable info.
