So it's that time of year again, NAMM here and we're excited to hear lots of announcements with new drum kits and cymbals, all brand new for 2015!
Today, Sabian made a huge announcement about a new collection of cymbals called Big & Ugly. If you hadn't guessed by now, they're big, and they're kind'a ugly, with their dark, organic and imperfect appearance.
The interesting thing about these new cymbals is that they're not a new series. Each of the Big & Ugly cymbals belong to an existing Sabian cymbal series including AA, HH, HHX and Xs20. All of the Big & Ugly cymbals are ride cymbals and have their own unique characteristics as well as the popular traits from their series.
The Big & Ugly models have been designed to appeal to all drummers and are considered very versatile cymbals. These fun-to-play cymbals are perfect for every situation and style, whether you're a Indie Hipster, Jazz drummer or play a lot of mainstream stuff and fancy adding something a little different to your set-up, any of these Sabian cymbals will fit in nicely along side your current set-up and bring a dynamic feel that you'll just love!
These new Sabian ride cymbals will be available in store at drumshop from February 2015 and are currently on our website ready to pre-order today! Check out the links below and pick your favourite cymbal from the new for 2015 Big & Ugly collection.
Let us know what you think of these new Sabian cymbals!
