Recently some of our staff have just returned from Namm in LAX and brought us back some fabulous goodies... They did good, very good indeed! Check out these three snares that i will be talking about today.
Firstly the Mapex Black Panther The Warbird 12" x 5.5" Snare Drum looks absolute beautiful, it has been custom designed by Chris Adler with his own Warbird design and it sounds as good as it looks. The hybrid maple/walnut shell has a dark, punchy sound when tuned low and the complete opposite when tuned up high that's what makes it so versatile that it would fit perfectly into any drum setup.
One of my favorites is the Mapex Black Panther The Versatus Snare Drum its so expressive, with even the slightest stroke the sound of the drum still cuts through. The hybrid shell has great projection and a drying sound to it because of the vents allowing the drum to breathe.
Also check out the Mapex Black Panther The Wraith Snare Drum its dry and fiery the sound is truly stunning and it will blow you away.
If you need any help on these new snare drums please feel free to ring our guys up for help.
