I was walking through Drumshop this morning when I glimpsed at the Gretsch USA Custom in the corner and realise how stunning it is. The thing I love about it the most is the beautiful ice blue metallic finish.
As soon as I got to my desk I had to do a little research on it. The 6 ply maple drum shells feature a Gretsch silver sealer interior along with hand cut and hand sanded 30 degree bearing edges... cool right? Well thats not it.
The Gretsch tom suspension system stops drum contact which results in as much drum resonance and tone that is possible! Complete with Remo drum heads and Gretsch die cast hoops which help deliver a more focused sound.
