Sun, Sea and NAMM Show…
Toni's Take on This Years NAMM 2016 Show.
Lucky Paul was ‘the chosen one’ to represent Drum Shop UK in sunny California! While we’re soaking up the drizzle, he’s sipping champagne and networking in the sunshine. He'll also be meeting up with Carl who is currently living the life out in LA!
For those of you who don’t know; what is NAMM?
NAMM Show was founded in 1901 and stands for the ‘National Association of Music Merchants’. It is one of the largest music product, trade-only, shows in the world and promotes new products and innovations in the music industry.
So why are Drum Shop UK there?
As NAMM is only open to owners, suppliers and endorsed artists, we’ve sent Paul over to look at the new ‘shiny’ products and hopefully come back with some contacts. He should be able to find something from the hundreds of booths displaying awesome products from around the world! He’ll be able see all of the new products available this year from our current suppliers:
- EMD Music – Stagg and Remo.
- Westside Distribution – PDP, DW, Sabian and Vater.
- KORG – Mapex, Paiste, Vic Firth and Kick Port

- Yamaha
- Istanbul Mehmet

plus many more! Paul will be looking out for cool new gear to order and bring back with him, hopefully he'll also bring us back some sunshine!
