12 brand new Dunnett Drums are on their way to the UK right now and they are landing right here at Drum Shop. Each drum has been designed and handcrafted uniquely by the one and only Mr Ronn Dunnett!
Ronn Dunnett is the President of Dunnett Classic Drums, a master Drumsmith and a drummer himself. This is what makes Dunnett Drums some of the most desired drums in the world - through his experience, research and development into what drummers need and want.
His innovation has involved developing venting, snare beds, cryogenics, and aesthetics. Ronn Dunnett started the company in 1989 in Australia, where he designed the worlds first Titanium drum shell, and became a respected influencer in the Drum industry. Since then, Dunnett drums have appeared in many famous drummers' sets, such as in Todd Sucherman, from the band Styx, and Kurt Dahle, from The New Pornographers.
The Model 2N Series from Dunnett came about as a challenge to Ronn to build a drum using the beaded/flanged architecture that he preffered more than his Ludwig 400 Supraphonic. The series features Stainless Steel, Brass and Aluminium Shells with polished, chrome over brass, natural or antique finishes. Coming into store soon are the following drums:

By 1994 Ronn had designed, developed and built several prototypes based on his own concepts, simple innovation and what he felt was lacking from existing products at that time. This includes the creation of the first ever titanium drum!. All that work resulted in the perfection of Titanium and Stainless Steel snare drums which nowadays are played and used by some of the most influential drummers, producers and studio engineers.

Dunnett Stanton Moore 14" x 4.5" Spirit of New Orleans Snare Drum
The Stanton Moore and Ronn Dunnett collaboration, despite being incredible, was recently improved! Seems impossible right? The Dunnett Stanton Moore Spirit of New Orleans Titanium 14" x 5" Snare Drum is the finished result! The titanium shell crafted and designed by Ronn Dunnett himself offers focused sounds with clear high and mid tones and boxy low end. This 2019 addition now features a high offset tube lug to reduce the shell diameter by .125", improving tensioning latitude, tonality and sensitivity. Other features include single flange hoops with clips, Dunnett R4 snare strainer, Dunnett Hypervent, and a 42-strand snare wire.
Dunnett Stanton Moore 14" x 4.5" Acacia Snare Drum
With a rare acacia shell, this Stanton Moore/Dunnett snare drum comes with a natural gloss finish, the unique Stanton Moore Spirit of New Orleans badge and chrome hardware.
