For those of you who haven't heard, we are hosting one of this year's #FUTUREBEAT 2018 regional finals here at Drum Shop and we are excited to say the least! If you keep up to date with us using our blog or various social media platforms then you'll know we've been on the hunt for young, up and coming drummers to get involved with this prestigious drumming competition, hosted by Yamaha Drums.
We are extremely proud that the North East leg of the regional finals is being held at Drum Shop and we must say we were overwhelmed by the amount of entries we have had and would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our entrants for their considered and inventive drumming videos, some of which were truly high standard examples of drumming we've ever seen from such young drummers. However, as you guys know only eight drummers can make it and are invited to battle it out at the Regional Final held at Drum Shop. So we won't keep you drummers in anticipation too much longer, below is a list of our eight Regional Finalists:

As we have had such an impressive bunch of entrants this year we thought we'd share some of the regional finalists audition videos with you guys! Not only so you guys can watch the talent first hand for yourselves, but so these up and coming drummers can gain support from some of the more established members of our drumming community. And of course we want these videos to be around forever as major throwbacks for when some of these young drummers undoubtedly go on to be drumming superstars!
The #FUTUREBEAT 2018 competition by Yamaha Drums, North East regional final will be hosted at Drum Shop on Tuesday 11th September 2018 at 7pm and is a staple in the drum calendar to support young, talented drummers as well as to connect with other drummers.
