HUSHT LTV - Lowering The Volume - Cymbals
This newly released line of low volume cymbals is the new must-have addition to any drummers arsenal. Whether you use them for practice, studio or live, this set is for everyone!!

What is HUSHT?
Husht is a new brand of low volume cymbals designed by drummers for drummers, that is currently exclusive to Drum Shop UK!
The first line released from HUSHT CYMBALS is the LTV series (Lowering the Volume), and it's perfect for practicing, recording and even live gigs. The durable range of cymbals provide the same feel and response as traditional cymbals, just with a significantly lower volume - hence the name.
Why would you want low volume cymbals?
Low volume cymbals could be considered some of the most versatile you can buy. After all, they can be the perfect fit for almost every scenario:
- How to Practice at home without irritating your neighbours
- How to Protect your ears while playing
- How to Play during quiet acoustic gigs
- Why not add to your electronic drum kit for even more of a real-feel playing experience
- You can stack on top of your existing cymbals to create effects cymbals
The HUSHT Cymbals have been praised for the way they carry the same sound characteristics as a regular cymbal, and even feel the same all-around, but sit at a perfectly reduced volume that enables you to play as normal, just without that booming cymbal volume! No matter what you use them for, Husht cymbals are essential to add to your gear!

Bought a set of these and I am delighted! They actually sound and feel like regular cymbals but without the volume. Do what they say they are going to, and the hi hats are a revelation. - Nigel. C
I have a set of these and a set of the more expensive Zildjian L80’s. The Husht are slightly higher pitched but they sound great and the manufacturing quality is the equal of the Zildjian’s imho. - Andrew C.
Hello Andy just wanted to say thank you for an excellent service. My HUSHT cymbals arrived tonight. Just had a quick play, but really pleased. They are very musical and sound great. The hats and ride are particularly melodic. Going to try and record them at the weekend. Good luck with the sales of this very clever product. All the best. - James
Just picked up my set of these and tried them. I’m really pleased with the sound and volume level.
The tone of all cymbals is fine, obviously they have a different tone to normal cymbals. They have a higher pitch which is most noticeable on the high hats and crash but I like it. I was worried they would just sound like cheap cymbals but they don’t. The fact that all the lower (harsher / louder) overtones are reduced or removed is much more pleasant on the ear and will certainly be less tiring.
I bought these with the intention to use them for reduced volume rehearsals and also low volume live playing (such as buskers nights). I expect they will be ideal for that as they’re still loud enough to be heard in an acoustic / pub setting. It will also be interesting to hear them recorded when I get a chance.
Well done drum shop!
Now you need to create a low volume drum head to match up with these. I don’t mean a “silent” mesh head, I mean a hybrid of mesh/Mylar which has some tone to it. - Ged Knowles
The cymbals are perfect for practicing as I don’t have to use ear plugs, they have a really good sound and feel to them and they are just all round brilliant, and for the price they are an absolute bargain! - Cameron Douglass
I tried a set of Husht cymbals just out of curiosity as I’ve already got a low volume set of cymbals. I really liked the Husht set. They responded like real cymbals, were very musical-especially in a low volume rehearsal with the band and I preferred the look to my current ( more expensive!) set. So I bought them! - G. Francis
