RAMRODS is a distinctive brand specialising in handcrafted percussion rods, all meticulously made in England.

Owned entirely by Percussion Technology Ltd., the brand emerged from the innovative mind of Richard Horton, an enthusiastic drummer who, after retiring from the fire and rescue service, sought to create rods that aligned more closely with his personal preferences than those available in retail. Richard's journey began with experimentation in various sizes, weights, and core materials, leading to the rapid development of a rod collection that quickly attracted interest from his fellow drummers. In 2022, Richard, alongside partners Keith Keough, Al Murray, and Craig Buckley, established Percussion Technology, rebranding the collection and officially launching RAMRODS.
