Here at Drum Shop we are super excited to welcome ATV to the family! ATV is a fairly new brand, founded in 2013, that has already made a mark within the industry by consistently producing high-quality products and continuously raising the bar for Electronic Drums by being ahead of the game and thinking of the most innovative ways to improve player experience! We have introduced five of their models and one pack to our website and can't wait for you all to love them as much as we do!
For those of you who've never heard of ATV, don't worry! In this blog you'll learn all about ATV plus the models we currently offer!
ATV's founder, Ikutaro Kakehashi, lives by the slogans Creation; Spreading the joy of creation to the world, Best; Better to be the best than the biggest, Empathy; Building a company that evokes empathy. ATV Corporation specialises in electronic musical instruments and video equipment, and despite electronic musical instruments already flourishing, they saw the potential in combining audio and video, making them so much more unique. Kakehashi is well-known for his contribution to the establishment of the "MDI", a great achievement of contributing to the music industry. On top of that, he received the "Technical Grammy Award"!
Determined to create products with high added value, ATV do not pursue unnecessary figures and quantities and do not fall into the trap of commodification.
Communication is key for ATV and they take pride in it! By listening closely to their customers they are able to improve the quality of their products, incorporating what customers say into their work.
The aDrums series heightens player's performance expression due to the incredible build of these drums, the feel and appearance of each drum's size matches the sound it produces. The 18", kick drum, 13" snare drum, 14" hi-hat, and 18" ride cymbal all provide stunning visuals, whilst also, preserving the same striking feel and distance as acoustic drums. The kick drum and floor tom offer plenty of depth, allowing you to experience the solid and massive lows. This kit features perfectly sized drums for both the home and studio. Both of the aDrums models are available with or without the module!
Artist Standard Model
This set includes a 18" x 12" Kick Drum , 10" x 6.5" Tom, 13" x 12" Floor Tom, 13" x 5.5" Snare Drum, 14" Optical Hi-Hat, 16" Crash Cymbal and 18" Ride Cymbal, with the choice of whether you would like the aD5 Sound Module.

Artist Expanded Model

If you purchased the Standard model but want to upgrade it to the Expanded verion, why not get the Artist Expanded pack? The Artist Expanded Pack features only the 10" x 6.5" Tom, 16" Crash Cymbal and a Tom/Cymbal stand to mount them both!
