ATV'S EXS drum series offers a line of incredible drums, all featuring superior playing experience that's tailor-made for all player stages, genres and styles. These drum sets combine realistic sounds of the xD3 module, with high quality drum and cymbal pads, able to capture even the subtlest of nuances of your playing.
The ATV EXS-3 Electronic Drum Kit is a more compact model compared to the EXS-5, it allows you to play expressively by including all the essential drums and cymbals for any situation. Ideal for beginners, the EXS-3 is a wonderfully space-saving set that still remains high-quality.
ATV's XD3 sound module is included in this kit, allowing drummers to fully express their dynamics and groove and fully experience the dynamic range of a kick drum. the subtle timbres of a snare and the natural coloured resonances of each cymbal.
The kit comes equipped with 3 cymbals, a 12" Hi-Hat, 12" Crash Cymbal and a 14" Ride Cymbal. The cymbals include plenty design details that work together to create a playing experience as close to that of an acoustic cymbal! The cymbals can be played and choked anywhere around their full circumference, this means there's no longer any need for rotation stoppers that prevent natural cymbal motion. To see how the newly designed pivot allows the cymbal to swing naturally in all directions, simply place the cymbal on the stand.
This isn't the only natural detail this cymbal replicates, the whole cymbal flexes and wobbles when it's thin tapered edge is struck. The silicone playing surface combines amazing playability and great feel with it's excellent ability to be silent.
The hi-hats solve all previous precision and tracking problems through utilising a completely optical sensor to provide high-precision sensing without lag, even when the hi-hat is open and closed rapidly!
The drums feature durable, sensitive two-layer mesh heads and a new, patented, multi-senor design for the snare drum and toms, these features capture the full dynamic range of your performance and eliminate the problem of hotspots. Whether it's subtle or powerful, these innovative drum heads translate your playing into an expressive natural performance with immense accuracy.
