Remember when everyones favourite drum brand relaunched?! If not here's a little recap...
Before the birth of Rogers in 1930, we have to look back at when in 1849, USA's first calfskin head company was created by Joseph H. Rogers. Keeping the family business alive, Joseph H. Rogers Junior set up the second tannery, again passed down in 1930, grandson Cleveland S. Rogers began to manufacture the first Rogers drums.
To further grow the company, Cleveland sold it onto distributor Henry Grossman in 1955 and within the next year Grossman, alongside inventor Joe Thompson and marketing manager Ben Strauss, earns Rogers the title of leading innovator in drum & percussion manufacturing at the Covington plant! But after Rogers "Golden Era" the company's assets were sold to other musical instrument corporations through from 1966 to 2006.
More recently in 2017, Rogers introduced their range of Dyna-Sonic Snares, Dyno-Matic Hardware and other Parts & Accessories! The iconic Dyna-Sonic snares came in just four finishes! Not enough, right?
Well, here we are now in 2019, and we have the perfect solution... an extra four finishes! Introducing the brand new Limited Edition finishes... Red Sparkle, Red Ripple, Green Sparkle and White Onyx!
Fresh from the NAMM Show in Los Angeles, Drum Shop's Paul Gilford hand picked these finishes!
The Limited Edition snares follow the same suit as the other Dyna-Sonic snares, four finishes in two configurations, 14" x 5" and 14" x 6.5", except once they're gone, they're gone... Be quick to get your hands on one of these eight one of a kind drums!
Wondering what's so great about these snares? Check this video out...
