New Drum Clinic with Marco Minnemann and Eddy Thrower!

Drum Clinic is Back!!

Back with a bang, Drum Shop is so pleased to announce we have partnered up with Marco Minnemann and Eddy Thrower on their 2020 European Drum Clinic tour! Marco will be headlining at Newcastle College on March 10th with Eddy Thrower as support. There will be plenty of drum solos, playing along tracks and Q and A sessions to go around. 

Who is Marco Minnemann?

Since playing the organ at the age of 6, music has been in Marco Minnemann's blood, moving up to drums and guitar at 11. Fame came to Marco at the age of 19 when his talents as a drummer and composer were recognised and took him to Munich, Germany to perform. 

As of today, Marco has published a significant number of solo CDs on which he performs all of the instruments and vocals himself. He is most known in the drumming world for developing his own advanced drum technique called interdependence. This technique allows him to play various patterns with each of his feet and hands! Marco has been a huge part of The Aristocrats band, performing live all over the world and recording on their 6 studio albums.

After just releasing another album titled 'You Know What?' with The Aristocrats in 2019, Marco is embarking on a huge European drum clinic to demonstrate his talents to aspiring drummers or just lovers of the art! And luckily for us, he has chosen Drum Shop UK to partner up with for his Newcastle Clinic in March!

Who is Eddy Thrower?

 Voted one of the worlds top 3 rock drummers, Eddy Thrower has performed live with the likes of 'Lower Than Atlantis', 'Busted', 'Dua Lipa', and 'Jax Jones'. His drumming has been featured on some extremely well known albums such as Lower Than Atlantis (all), One Direction (Midnight Memories), Linkin Park, and on many TV channels, adverts and films, including Sony Music, BBC, ITV etc.

From his own band 'We Stare At Mirrors', in his hometown of Winchester, to being personally asked to come and play for Lower than Atlantis when their drummer left, Eddy Thrower has had a remarkably successful career in drumming. His music spans from Lower Than Atlantis hardcore first album 'Low Q' to recording songs with One Direction and touring with Busted, making him one of the most versatile drummers in contemporary times.
