TAMA's Sound Lab Project drums are designed with the curious drummer in mind - the drummer that is searching for their own specific sound to compliment their style, whether it's the warm and woody tones of maple, the open lively sound of kapur, or the unique fat sounds of spruce.
The expansion of TAMA's SLP series brought us the Fat Spruce kit, with its unique fa and resonant sound created by the uncommon spruce wood used to construct the shells. Rarely used as a drum shell, the spruce material produces solid mids and a natural, pure tone.
The die cast hoops allow for a clear, focused attack and a wide tuning range whilst also guaranteeing the consistency of tuning.
TAMA's Direct Flexi-Mount allows you to position toms however you need them with a hinge for added range of motion. The mount is extremely low profile while still allowing maximum resonance.
The SLP Fat Spruce comes in a 3 piece configuration ( 20" x 14" Bass Drum, 12" x 8" Tom, 14" x 14" Floor Tom) in a stunning dark satin spruce finish.
And the best part is... we have it here in store!
