After a fun filled weekend at the London Drum Show we're back and more fuelled than ever to enter into the Christmas countdown, but before we do we're going to give you all the low down on everything that happened at this year's London Drum Show!
This year we were privileged to share our stand with the Natal Drums team, Craig and the rest of Natal guys were perfect stand buddies and we couldn't have asked for a better bunch of people to stand share with, we mean come on look at the set-up...cool or what!
From Natal Arcadia to Natal Cafe Racer we had an overwhelming amount of interest in Natal products and have strengthened our fantastic relationship with the team from Natal as well as the overwhelmingly talented Natal Artists that were featured throughout the weekend, such as our upcoming drum clinic star Matty Brown and Simple Minds, Mel Gaynor.
You may be wondering why we shared stands with the guys from Natal, well the London Drum Show marked the launch of the hottest collab between Drum Shop and Natal which is the unique Natal Sixty 5 drum kits. Natal Sixty 5 drum kits are unique one off drum kits that you can't get anywhere else, you may be able to get a similar finish but you'll never get the same kit in this configuration, trust us! These kits are fresh and edgy and they're certainly selling like hot cakes too, in the first couple of hours we sold three of these kits and continued to sell these beauties for the rest of our time at the LDS.
But it wasn't just Natal that were the show stealers at this year's London Drum Show, Istanbul Mehmet hit the ground running too and on the first day we sold 70% of our stock, now that's what we call a top seller! Between Istanbul Mehmet and Natal there were also some fantastic offers to be had on Rock and Whiskey and Drum Shop merch. The RAW coloured cymbal felts are new to Drum Shop and hit the ground running at the London Drum Show with lots of people flocking to find out more!
Over the weekend we can certainly say we had our fair share of drumming talent pass by our stand, from Simple Minds Mel Gaynor to drumming legend Aaron Spears, Dexter Hercules to our dear friend Steve White.
What we will say about our time at the London Drum Show is that we were absolutely blown away by the help and organisation of the whole event. The Olympia (London) was a fantastic venue and everyone from the Olympia staff to the London Drum Show organisers, fellow exhibitors to the general public, everyone was absolutely fantastic and after exhibiting at the London Drum Show consecutively for several years now, we're firm when we say this has been the best one yet! Everything from the atmosphere to the people, the good vibes down to the spectacular line up of drumming talent made this the drumming event of the year for sure! That's it from us, see you next year London Drum Show!
