For those of you who don't know what The NAMM Show is, The National Association of Music Merchants or NAMM for short is one of the largest and most popular music trade shows in the world. The annual event is held at the Anaheim Convention Centre in Anaheim, California, USA every January with music lovers the world over flooding to this impressive location. NAMM 2017 is being held from Thursday 19th January 2017 - Sunday 22nd January 2017.
The NAMM Show is a brilliant platform to engage, promote and interact with music lovers from all over the world, providing music innovations, support and solutions for music professionals. It is the destination for emerging products and innovations from the very best of the industry. An event founded in 1901, which has grown from strength to strength since then.
So for those of you wanting to know what type of things you can expect to see at The NAMM Show 2017, there is a full list of events you can view here. But here is some of the things we are looking forward to checking out.
This is set to be a rhythmic celebration full of passion and enthusiasm for drumming! With music professionals from all areas letting off steam and having some good old fashion drumming fun!
From David Bowie to George Michael, 2016 saw the passing of many noteable people, each year NAMM hosts a special tribute recollecting those we've lost from the music industry the previous year. With live bagpipe music from Los Angeles Scots Pipe Band this is sure to be a heartwarming, unforgettable moment.
As well as all of the fantastic events NAMM provide every year from concerts to educational seminars. One of our favourite parts of the show is to check out the latest products, technologies and innovations from some of the best brands around. We can't wait to check out some of these exhibitors:
