This amazing Ludwig 24" Classic Maple Downbeat 4-Piece Shell Pack is beautifully styled in a range of classic finish wraps which are all complimented by chrome drum hardware. Constructed using 7-ply cross-laminated North American maple shells the sound produced has optimum resonance and tonality. In addition, the cross-laminated shell is sensitive and dynamic whilst holding a sharp attack under it's shell. A great feature about this shell is the responsiveness to the player, it is perfect for adapting to your surroundings, whatever they may be!
Made in the USA by the craftsmen at Ludwig Drums, each of the shells bearing edges are cut to a 45 degree angle, the sharp edge is then hand-sanded by the craftsmen to ensure a smooth, even, flat surface for easy head seating.
