The new release Venus Series is an all-inclusive setup for the first time player ready to start their Drummer for Life adventure. Outfitted with a complete set of hardware, cymbals and drum throne the Venus Series is the perfect kit for starting a meaningful drumming journey. Not only for beginners, the Venus kits would be perfect for schools, practice rooms, or as a venue house kit. The finish is a lovely copper metallic, giving the kit a luxurious and warm look. There is an impassioned and lively energy given off with the copper colour, and is enhanced with the metallic finish.
The 9-ply shells offer a full, warm sound, and with mini B-lug which were inspired by the style of B lugs from the Saturn Evolution Series, the new Mini B-Lug makes tuning smooth and easy. They are appointed with Mapex SONIClear bearing edges produce rich tones from the toms, a robust crack from the snare drum and a punchy low thump from the bass drum. The double tom holder makes for easy positioning and multi-angle adjustment, with user friendly experience for an easy and quick set up everytime. The hammered brass 14" hi-hats, 16" crash, and 18" ride produces a warm cymbal sound rich with harmonics fitting perfectly with most genres of music. The single bass drum pedal uses a solid base plate construction for both durability and a secure, comfortable performance outpacing most pedals in its class. Single chain drive with adjustable spurs, a reversible and angle adjustable beater and a full-sized footboard for a performance worthy feel. The hi-hat stand is a direct-pull-chain-drive mechanism that creates a smooth and responsive feel while the simple and strong hi-hat clutch keeps the top cymbal in place. The angle-adjustable seat cup gives authentic hi-hat function and sound.
