TAMA, then named Star Drums, first entered the American market as a low-cost drum brand competing against more expensive brands, like Rogers and Ludwig. The Club Jam series is inspired by vintage pieces and shows this in its features, including a cymbal holder mounted directly from the bass drum shell and curved bass drum spurs. Its compact size makes it perfect for transporting from gig to gig easily and taking up as little space on the stage as possible. The bass drum is equipped with a sturdy wooden hoop and mounted cymbal bracket - included in the price. The kit can be bought with hardware or without, giving you the ease of buying everything at once or the freedom to buy separate hardware! The 6-Ply Mersawa/Poplar hybrid shell produces a focused yet deep sound that is ideal for small and intimate gigs but can also translate to the big stage.
