Tama Starclassic Maple Drum Kit.
This 3-Piece Starclassic drum kit has been made from Maple drum shells, featuring 5plys + outer ply on the toms and 7plys + outer ply on the bass drum. Tama have achieved the sound of a thinner shell with the strength of a thicker shell with this clever Maple cross laminated shell construction. The Maple Starclassic drum kit delivers a warm, clear sound which is desired by drummers of all genres.
The Starclassic drum kits from Tama are now available in a choice of lacquered and exotic finishes. This 3-piece comes as an exotic Figured Maple Gloss, paired with chrome drum shell fittings which create an expensive appearance.
If you're a fan of new features, you'll love the Starclassic series as they currently have two patent and one pending patent parts included; The lightweight, aluminium Star-Cast Mounting System is found on all of Tama's top-end drums. The Star-Cast Mount allows you to position your toms close together without getting in the way, whilst ensuring your tom can reach it's full potential and maximum resonance.
The Patent Hold Tight Washers basically do what they say! The unique design means they 'hold tight' and do not loosen. It is common that vibrations of the drum can work the tension rod loose, but not anymore!
The Patent Pending Quick-Lock tom brackets allow for quick and easy set-up and tear down. The Quick-Lock bracket comes as standard on Starclassic floor toms and saves the 'memory lock' position you set previously with a simply slide of a switch on the bracket. The rubber lining of the Quick-Lock brackets also enhance the drums resonance for an overall better sound and performance.
