The Majestic Professional 4.0 octave xylophone is a set apart by its beautiful wood frame and classic curves. Featuring select rosewood bars, this instrument offers a traditional warmth in sound and rich tonal quality.
Quint tuned, this means that the fundamental is tuned as well as the harmonic an octave and a fifth above, rather than only an octave above as is the case with octave tuned xylophone. This ensures fewer harmonic clashes and a more consistent sound when playing across the range of the instrument.
Also, wider bars are employed in the low register to add strength and presence, resulting in an equally full sound across the full range of the instrument. This xylophone has an easy to operate crank-up height adjustment mechanism with drop cover and mallets also included.
