This finish is applied to the thin birch shell, promoting impressive resonance and a powerful deep bass tone. With an extensive range of sizes available, the Concert Black series bass drum is ideal for school concert bands and ensembles to professional orchestras and recording percussioninsts. This drum features a concert frame with a lockable 360 degree tilt angle and double bracing. If you require a field stand with 8" wheels, that is supplied (in a limited range of sizes) with the MFCB Concert Black bass drum range.
