Dream Dark Matter Energy 18" Crash Cymbal
The Dark Matter Series from Dream, are a unique and individual range of cymbals. All Dream Dark Matter Cymbals are created from an exclusive process in which the cymbals are fired twice. After being fired for the second time, the cymbals are repeatedly heated and hand hammered, they are then rapidly cooled by being immersed into cold water. This process enables all of the ash, soot and impurities from firing to be locked into the metal. This intense method which involves months of aging to mature the cymbals, allows Dream to produce complex and profound results. The Dark Matter Series are dense and completely un-lathed, producing an excellent stick response.
The Dark Matter Energy Crash Cymbal is a medium weight cymbal with a dry stick response. With more ring than lighter traditional cymbals, the Energy Crash Cymbal is heavy producing a mature and individual sound reflective of the extreme process the cymbal has encountered.
