The Samatya Series is a modern series from Istanbul Mehmet which has the ability to deliver brilliantly fast, powerful sounds which are perfectly suited towards pop and rock styles of music. The Istanbul Mehmet Samatya Crash is constructed using a B20 bronze alloy which is a medium weight cymbal with a beautiful brilliant finish and hand hammered surface. This cymbal is capable of producing bright sounds laced with shimmering tones and a full body; a clear yet powerful sound makes for a versatile crash sound that is ideal for beginners, it really does encompass a range of sound all in one cymbal.
