The X-Ray Series by Istanbul Mehmet are a series of cymbals which are aimed towards drummers looking for more unusual cymbals to add to their existing set-up. X-Ray6 cymbals have distinct appearance, with a polished surface and large holes spaced evenly around the bow of the cymbal. The Istanbul Mehmet 18" X-Ray6 Crash is medium-thin so they create sound quickly but still have enough weight behind them to cut through sound when needed.
A gritty, trashy sound and a fast decay perfectly describes this crash, it would make a welcome addition to any cymbal set-up, that we're sure!
