The Uptown Ride from the Zildjian A series delivers a controlled dry sound with very pronounced stick definition, in a smaller cymbal. The un-lathed top and bottom surface creates a tightly defined sound with minimal overtones or sustain. The un-lathed surface and extensive hammering technique creates a complex musicality and a distinct Zildjian sound.
