The Private Reserve series is one of the biggest offerings available from the respected Craviotto brand, each snare drum from the series is handmade from unique, one of a kind solid wood boards. Single-ply steam-bent shells are crafted from beautifully irregular wood boards that retain sound sensitivity like no other snare. This particular Private Reserve snare drum has been crafted using Curly Maple wood and finalized with an oil finish inlay, this particular shell has the ability to deliver bright, clear tones which is believed to be because of the irregularity of rings/waves within the wood and the multiple directions they travel. Tonally this snare drum produces a great depth and a strong attack, effortless tuning adds to the versatility of this rare instrument.
Scrupulous quality control and specifications mean this snare is only the best and therefore only a limited quantity is added to the Private Reserve series, making any snare from the Private Reserve series highly collectable.
