The '56 Evans drum heads have been designed as a nod to the year that Evans was founded. The throw back drum heads have a vintage look and sound which have been created by a blend of synthetic materials, an alternative to the traditional calfskin. The clever technology of Evans 360 has been built into these drum heads making them easy to tune and providing you with a true fit.

The Calftone drum heads deliver warm, full, and rich tones which bring that classic sound to even the most modern drum kit. Complete with vintage style Evans '56 Calftone packaging to finish off the throw back feel, the Evans '56 Calftone heads are just too cool!

The EQ4 features a fixed internal ring which control overtones to help focus the drums tonal response. Ideal for both batter and resonant.
