Evans GMAD 20% More Durable than the EMAD.

Made very similar to the EMAD 1, the GMAD bass drum head is 2mm thicker than the EMAD. The GMAD is 12mm single ply opposed to the 10mm of the EMAD 1. With this extra 2mm comes more punch and more low end with the added bonus of 20% more durability.
