Tulip wood shells are the base of this Cafe Racer shell pack and this unconventional shell material actually produces a distinctive sound that has vintage vibes but is equally as applicable today. The tulip shell produces dry and definitive sounds that can perform anywhere and we mean anywhere. Just as your classic car can drive you to the city, the coast or the country, this shell pack can perform in the studio, on the stage or at the starting line, the tulip shell provides just the right amount of warmth and projection to make it uber versatile.
Features wise Cafe Racer is brimming, a hand finished, slightly rounded 45 degree bearing edge is more harmonious to your sound, whilst allowing for more attack and sustain. The Tru-Tune Tension Rods ensure consistent tuning every time, the NRM Aluminium Ball Tom Mounting System aids in securing the toms whilst they are mounted and the hardwearing telescopic bass drum spurs are just the start.
Each and every drum from the Cafe Racer Series is finished with a high quality lacquer ensuring all those dreamy classic motor inspired finishes are locked in place forever more. With a choice of finishes available from Sea Foam Green to Matte Black, the tulip drum shells really blend well with the top spec finishes. Not only that each Natal shell pack features a Natal Sun logo drum badge and the Cafe Racer Series feature Natal high mass chrome plated zinc sun lugs which rounds off the shell pack perfectly.
