Toca is committed to being green and environmentally-friendly. The wood we use is harvested from a plantation in Thailand, where their drums are then lathed and handcrafted by local musicians. This carefully managed resource is much easier on the environment than wood taken from primary forests. Bag included.

Like Toca’s Origins Series, Master Series Wood Djembes are also expertly hand carved from a single piece of plantation grown mahogany. The modified bowl shape produces an alternative sound profile with a more broad tonal range.

A low-stretch Alpine rope keeps the natural goatskin head in tune and all Master Series Djembes include a durable, padded carry bag for easy transport.
