The Black Panther ‘Warbird’ snare features a 6-ply 5.1mm hybrid walnut/maple shell that provides a sharp and aggressive attack with an amazing bite as well as its dark, punchy and explosive sound. The snare features SONIClear 45 degree bearing edges on the top and 35 degree edges on the bottom, providing plenty of power and sustain while allowing you to regain that control that you require. The new Warbird snare drum is an optimized version of the original black panther snare with a unique 12" diameter and its hybrid shell. Possessing a mix of fury and deadly precision, this drum delivers an intense, dark punch when tuned low and an explosive pop when cranked high.

The geniuses at Mapex worked alongside the one and only Chris Adler to design this signature Design Lab Snare drum. If you're not familiar, Chris Adler is an American Drummer most famous for being the founder and long-time drummer of the heavy metal band Lamb of God. He was also well recognised for his open-handed drumming technique, use of the heel-toe technique, and his unusual approach to the drum kit as a left-handed player on a right-handed kit!
