The 1.2mm thick steel shell produces a powerful, cutting sound that thrives especially in live settings. The Sound Arc flanged hoops allow for the open tone of the steel snare due to the hoops being bent inwards to allow the natural resonance to reach its maximum potential without unwanted sound. This drum can be ideal for any style or situation of drumming but is particularly popular in aggressive rock due to the delicate balladeering which suits that genre.
